A LUXURY escape for two to romantic Paris awaits the lucky lady that will be crowned Queen of Fashion 2014 at Killarney Races on Thursday afternoon.
The stunning prize is up for grabs in the Dawn Milk sponsored style competition and the winner will also receive a specially commissioned crystal vase.
The winner of the most stylish hat award, meanwhile, will be presented with a trip for two to one of the world’s fashion capitals, Milan, and will receive a very unique crystal vase.
The celebrity adjudicators – who know a thing or two about style themselves – will be broadcaster Kathryn Thomas and the reigning Rose of Tralee Haley O’Sullivan from Texas who will shortly be handing over her Rose tiara to her successor.
The fashion and style stakes are always high and the two judges will be keeping an eye out for ladies who are stylish, elegant and who stand out from the crowd.
The four-day festival of racing, which got underway on Monday, continues this Tuesday night with a feast of racing and the scenic track at Bunrower will play host to a corporate evening for members of the Skål network of tourism and travel professionals, including the organisation’s Kerry president Margaret Cahill.
On Wednesday, meanwhile, Killarney Racecourse will play host to some of the 2014 Rose of Tralee contestants who will be presenting the prize for a ladies flat race.
