KILLARNEY was the undisputed style capital of Ireland on Easter Saturday night as the stunning contestants for this year’s Miss Kerry title turned out in force.
And there to capture the big event on camera was talented Killarney photographer Padraig Healy of Evoque Photography.
The finalists were introduced to the public at a gala ceremony in the Brehon Hotel, parading on the catwalk in their fabulous evening wear and leaving guests more than impressed by their style and elegance.
Outgoing Miss Kerry, the hugely popular Máireád Breathnach, was one of the judges this year and she was joined by fashion and occasion photographer Pawel Nowak and trendsetting stylist Aideen Feely
Lovely Listowel lass Niamh Enright was the overall winner and the UL student will now go forward to represent the Kingdom in the Miss Ireland pageant.
The other contestants were Maryann Sullivan, Blathin Griffin, Lydia Coughlan, Shauna O’Connor, Aoife Sheehy, Saoirse Coffey, Bernadine O’Dowd, Karen O’Shea, Denise Hickey, Shannen Clarke, Toni McCarthy, Naoimh Whelton, Patricia Kerins, Sophia Rochford, Ailish Conway, Shannon Lonergan, Darlene Lacey, Jodie Fitzgerald, Shona McGlynn, Emma Nolan, Jessica Healy and Blathnaid O’Callaghan.
