A conference hosted by Kerry-based financial services giant Fexco, featured a stellar line up of speakers from the top financial and technology sectors, ranging from Microsoft, Meta, JP Morgan, PWC and Coinbase as well as Fexco itself.
The Women in Payments event at the RDI Hub in Killorglin looked at the hottest topics ranging from financial crime, future payment trends, diversity and challenges and this year marked the first time that the conference was also open to an external audience outside of Fexco employees with over 200 attending, both in person and virtually.

The conference covered a broad range of industry topics that many companies in the sector are coming to terms with, with experts discussing how the sector can better protect itself and its customers against financial crime, as well as understanding and adapting to the changing nature and future demands of their customers.
The sessions also looked at what technologies would shape the future of the payments sector and how organisations will need to adapt to the ongoing digital transformation of their services.
In addition, a panel discussion on Women on the Move tackled how companies can learn from each other and their difference approaches to addressing their diversity and inclusion challenges and the learnings for other organisations from their progress.
The event culminated in a keynote address from Ruth McCarthy, CEO of Fexco Corporate Payments, discussing Ireland’s role in the digital assets exchange and the opportunities and challenges it presents.
The Fexco Women in Payments Network inspires and supports women to reach their full potential by giving them a platform to grow their industry expertise and access an industry-wide network.
