One Kerry supporter must win a cool €10,000

Kerry star David Clifford: Draw will support training fund for teams

The Kerry GAA has launched a major fundraising draw offering supporters an opportunity to win a bumper prize of €10,000 for just €10.

There are also some great runners-up prizes such as coveted All-Ireland final tickets and five-year GAA season club pass tickets.

All funds raised will go towards the Kerry teams training fund to support the senior squad and the development squads in both hurling and football.

The GAA has agreed a new partnership with Ballyduff-based Energywise Ireland as the draw sponsor.

As part of the deal, the company has launched a new Green Energy to Grass Roots initiative for local clubs which will allow them to receive €250 for every solar panel installation, heat pump installation and home energy upgrade purchased by club members.

Kerry GAA Treasurer, Paudie Healy, said the GAA and Energywise Ireland have similar values as both organisations deliver excellence and are striving for success at local and national level.

“This partnership allows all our clubs in Kerry to generate funds also through the Green Energy to Grass Roots initiative and being able to conclude a sponsor deal that support both Kerry GAA at county level and for our local clubs is very exciting,” he said.
