AN ageing dog found wandering after an accident in Killarney town centre is being cared for by a local vet until his owner can be traced.
The elderly male terrier was picked up on High Street after being involved in a car accident at the weekend and he was brought to the All-Care Veterinary Hospital where he is being given expert care and showered with affection.

The dog is old and deaf but still loves his food and attention.
Veterinary surgeon, Danny O’Sullivan, said it is obvious that he had been well cared for over the years. He was found on High Street and he would not have travelled far.
Danny has asked the Killarney public to check with their elderly neighbours, who might not see this appeal on social media, to ensure the dog doesn’t belong to them and he is hoping that somebody will recognise the friendly pet so that he can be returned home and ensure a happy ending to his ordeal.
“If not, we would like to find some kind person to care for him in his old age,” said Danny who can be contacted on 064-663733.
