Noelle helps earthquake victims

Picture 7A FUNDRAISING coffee morning in Killarney to help earthquake victims in devastated Nepal has generated a very impressive €2,000.

The event was organised and hosted by Noelle Crosbie at her busy café located in Old Market Lane, under the town clock at the Market Cross.

Thanks to the big-hearted generosity of her customers and friends, Noelle was able to donate the funds to the Himalayan Stove Project which is being spearheaded locally by Beaufort native Mike O’Shea who is renowned for his epic outdoor adventures.

Noelle was delighted with the response and she has passed on a heartfelt message of thanks to all those that supported the event and her staff who contributed so much to making the day a success.

Meanwhile, Noelle’s business has just been nominated for the prestigious Best Café in the country award by the Restaurants Association of Ireland.

The category winners will be announced at a gala reception in Dublin on May 25.
