“Killarney is a great location and the INEC is a great venue. It’s always fun to be involved in big shows and I’m really relishing the thought of it,” she added.

The inaugural Irish Post Awards will feature nine categories, including best country, best folk and best pop and rock acts while a Lifetime Achievement Award will also be revealed. The winners will be picked by a panel of distinguished judges and a public vote.

There will also be awards on offer for the best singer/songwriter, best album and best single as well as an award for outstanding contribution to TV or radio.
