A PAIR of shoes borrowed from her mother helped complete the look that earned Kerry woman Claire Murphy a place in the final of the Most Stylish Lady competition at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby in The Curragh.
She wore a stunning multi-coloured dress by Kerry designer Tina Griffin, paired with a cream Carol Kennelly hat and gorgeous vintage gloves and handbag, both in a lavender shade.
The Tralee fashionista also wore gold shoes belonging to her mother and they finished the look perfectly.
Claire and the other runners-up received luxury goodie bags from the Marker Hotel.
The overall winner was Lorraine O’Sullivan from Limerick who wore a beautiful dress by Philip Armstrong, a Lulu Guinness bag, Kurt Geiger shoes and a hand-crafted headpiece she finished that morning.
She walked away with a prize worth almost €20,000 and she will enjoy a holiday of a lifetime to Dubai, five glorious nights at the five-star Jumeirah Creekside, €1,000 to spend and return flights.
Also included in this amazing prize is an elegant Boodles 18-carat white gold and diamond pendant valued at €5,000 plus an overnight stay at the Marker Hotel in Dublin.
The panel of adjudicators was led by TV personality Amanda Byram.
