The playground at Deerpark in Killarney has reopened following extensive refurbishment works.
The works, undertaken by Kerry County Council. included the installation of swings and ground play equipment as well as the provision of additional combination play unit.
Play panels and additional see saws have also been installed. The upgraded playground will offer an enriched play experience for all children in a secure and safe environment.
The facility, which is on Chestnut Drive opposite Deerpark Retail Centre and close to Gaelscoil Faithleann, is open to the public and is free to use.
Deerpark is one 43 playgrounds open to the public throughout the county.
