GLENFLESK GAA club, which celebrated a silver jubilee of its most famous victory last year, has signed a new sponsorship deal with a local business which should give a significant boost to both going forward.
The St Agatha’s club has teamed up with Molly Darcy’s pub in the Muckross Park Hotel which will be investing significantly in the deal to become the main club sponsor.
The agreement was announced at a reception attended by the hotel’s general manager, Seán O’Driscoll, sales and marketing manager Brian Miley and Molly Darcy’s manager Ciaran Kelly as well as Glenflesk GAA chairman John Kelliher and club officers and members.
“We are privileged to be associated with such a high quality and respected business in the hospitality sector in our local area. We look forward to working closely together,” said John Kelliher.
Last year the club celebrated the 25th anniversary of winning the 1988 East Kerry senior championship and the gala event was held in the Muckross Park Hotel.
General manager, Seán O’Driscoll commented: “The club has a wonderful GAA history. We are proud to offer our support to the players and management team over the next few years.”
