He’s a gifted musician with a great stage presence but that’s only one string to the bow of young Killarney man Oisin O’Connor who is also in huge demand as a top brand model on the international circuit.
He was one of the winners at the Hi Style Ireland’s Most Stylish Businesses 2023 Awards, in association with Cointreau, which were held in the Clayton Hotel Silver Spring sin Cork at the weekend.
Oisin, who triumphed in a special category for Ireland’s Emerging Talent, models internationally with Hollister, Ted Baker and other global brands and has an amazing career ahead of him on the catwalk and on the top class modelling circuit.
He also plays in the family band fronted by his dad, Lord of the Dance star and internationally renowned musician Liam O’Connor, who has the distinction of having a Guinness World Records listing of the fastest fingers in the world as an accordion player.
While performing as a multi-instrumentalist on drums, percussion, electric and acoustic guitar, electric keyboards, and more, busy Oisin also found time to chase up success in the modelling world and is relishing every moment of it.
Dad Liam was persuaded by celebrity presenters, author and media personality Amanda Brunker and Virgin Media’s Deric Hartigan, to perform at Saturday evening’s awards ceremony and, not surprisingly, he brought the house down.
