GARDAI in Killarney are seeking the assistance of the public in tracing a man who has been reported missing.
Gilbert Fitzpatrick from Navan, Co Meath was last seen at 11.00am on Saturday. He had been on holiday in Tralee during the week and travelled to Killarney on Saturday.
It is believed that he may have gone walking in the Torc area of Killarney on Saturday and he did not return to his bed and breakfast in Tralee that evening.
Investigating Gardai are appealing for anyone walking in the Torc area to keep an eye out for him.
Mr Fitzpatrick is 50 years of age, low sized, of a light build with brown hair.
When last seen he was wearing a blue check short-sleeved shirt, blue trousers and black shoes and he was carrying a rain jacket.
