A NUMBER of stunning young ladies from Killarney certainly looked the part when they took to the fashion ramp for the grand final of the glamorous Miss Kerry 2015 contest in the Killarney Plaza Hotel.
Videographer Lucas Machowski was on the spot to capture the golden moment for posterity and he filmed the lovely contestants as they strutted their stuff in delightful cocktail wear and stylish evening gowns.
The Killarney contestants in contention were Naoimi Brosnan, Leanne Pierce, Ruzena Kristofova, Denis Sheahan and eventual runner-up Sarah Jane Taylor.
The finalists, aged between 17 and 24, were interviewed on stage before the celebrity adjudicators – including Killarney GAA superstar James O’Donoghue – had the difficult task of shooing the winner.
Stunning UL student Máiréad Breathnach, from Ballydavid, was the popular choice and she will now represent Kerry in the Miss Ireland contest in June and confidence is hight that she has the charm, the elegance and the style to go a long way in the competition.
