A NEW 20-unit housing scheme in Killarney – the first development of its kind in the town for many years – will be officially opened on Tuesday next.
Fresh from completing the 175km Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle last weekend, the Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government, Eoghan Murphy, will return to town to officiate at the ribbon cutting cermony at Lios an Fhia, which is located at The Park, Killarney, at 2.00pm.
The new estate has been constructed by Kerry County Council under the Rebuilding Ireland Programme.
The development is located close to Gaelscoil Faithleann and adjacent to the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre.
