THE weekend wedding of Kerry footballer Mike Stam O’Donoghue and the stunning Dr Muireann Quane was a very stylish affair at the Listowel Arms Hotel.
Guests enjoyed a lavish banquet and the weather played its part on their big day with Killarney Parish Administrator, Fr Kieran O’Brien, officiating at the ceremony in St John’s Church, Ballybunion which is the beautiful bride’s hometown.
Killarney solicitor Mike – known to all as Stam for his resemblance to a former Manchester United defender of the same name – has played for Kerry at all levels and he is regarded as one of the most talented and consistent footballers in the county.
He is a native of Muckross and he plays his club football with Spa.
Mike’s best man was his brother John and his groomsmen were another brother, Hugh, and Spa clubmates Andrew Garnett and Niall O’Mahony.
The magnificent bride Muireann was flanked on the day by her bridesmaid sisters Ciara, Seána, Niamh and Nonie.
