
DEDICATED clubman Matt O’Neill is the new chairman of Dr Crokes GAA Club.
He succeeds former Kerry County Board chairman Patrick O’Sullivan who will now concentrate on his role with the GAA’s Árd Comhairle.
Matt, who has served on a number of administrative positions with the club, is a native of Wexford who has been living in Killarney for many years.
He has a real passion for hurling as well as football and he had played basketball at a very competitive level with St Paul’s of Killarney.
A keen photographer, he has chronicled many of the club activities on and off the field of play over the years.
Deborah Ann O’Shea, a daughter of legendary clubman Eddie ‘Tatler’ O’Sullivan, a sister for former chairman Patrick and wife of former star player and manager Pat O’Shea, is the new club secretary and Noreen Cooper takes over as treasurer.
