A 35-year-old man today appeared before Kenmare District Court charged with the murder of his brother on Wednesday.
Patrick Dooley, with an address at Arbutus Grove, Killarney, is the younger brother of Thomas Dooley (43), from Hazelwood Drive in Killarney, who died after he was attacked at Rath Cemetery in Tralee.
The accused was charged just after 5.00am this Friday and there was heavy garda security as he was transported to court.
The judge heard that when charged, Mr Dooley denied harming his brother.
Patrick Dooley was remanded in custody to appear in court in Tralee, via video link, on October 12 and the judge agreed to a request that the accused receive medical attention for physical injuries.
