AN important fundraiser to generate funds for the Kerry-Cork Health Link Bus will be held in the Torc Hotel, Killarney on Friday next, April 6.
The benefit dance is being organised by Killarney Macra and the €10 entry fee will go directly to the charity.
The Health Link Bus transports people undergoing treatment for cancer from Kerry and parts of West Cork to and from Cork University Hospital, Mercy Hospital, Bons Secours, Cork and the Cork Clinic five days a week, free of charge.
It ensured access to vital treatment and it takes the pressure off patients who don’t need to be concerned about travel arrangements.
The dance, with a live band and a disco afterwards, will commence at 8.30pm and tickets will be available on the door.
