She’s one of the most talked-about performers on the Irish music scene right now and those that catch her live will know just why that is.
Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lyra rocked the Acoustic Club at the INEC in Killarney on Sunday night as she neared the completion of her Irish tour, which will finish up in Dunmore East next weekend.
She treated her Killarney audience to a terrify show, with her instantly recognisable tracks like Falling, Edge of Seventeen and New Day and it really was a tour-de-force performance.
Lyra – AKA 29-year-old Laura McNamara, from Bandon Co Cork – will then hit the road to be the official support to Westlife for a further 19 gigs, touring England and Scotland and also performing in Belfast this side of Christmas.
