THIS crafty canine is currently in Garda custody in Killarney and, thankfully for the officers on duty, it is operating the right to remain silent and not a single bark is being reported.
The dog was found wandering on Chapel Lane, off New Street, at around 9.30am and it was detained for its own safety.
Friendly and well fed, the brown and black teacup Yorkshire terrier is wearing a black collar but there is no contact name or telephone number attached.
The dog is currently at the Garda Station but will be released without any bail conditions on the condition that proof of ownership is provided.
