Killarney Lions Club has issued a message of thanks to everyone who supported its annual Christmas Food Appeal, including Daly’s SuperValu, Dunnes Stores and Tesco.
The club also praised the transition year students and teachers from Killarney Community College, St Brendan’s College, St Brigid’s Presentation Secondary School, and everyone who made food or monetary donations in recent weeks.
“Thanks to this generosity, we provided food hampers and other supports to families in need in the Killarney area for Christmas and will be able to continue serving the community in 2024,” said President Denis Doolan.
Founded in 1970, Killarney Lions Club is one of a network of 46,000 worldwide with on excess of 1.35 million members.
