FOLLOWING the thrill-a-minute Saturday night fever clash with the Dubs in Croke Park last weekend, the Kerry team that will line out against Galway in Austin Stack Park, Tralee tomorrow night (7.00pm) shows a number of changes – including a new midfield duo.
Jack Barry returns following his All-Ireland Junior Championship exploits with Na Gaeil and that will be a major relief for Peter Keane given that he was alarmingly short of midfield options with David Moran recovering from knee surgery and Adrian Spillane limping out of Croke Park on crutches last weekend.
Barry will be partnered by Spa’s Liam Kearney who did really well when introduced for his NFL debut in place of Spillane last weekend following a series of powerhouse displays for champions East Kerry in the Kerry SFC.

Wing back Brian Ó Beaglaoich, who also hobbled off against the All-Ireland champions, is replaced by Gavin White of Dr Crokes but Tommy Walsh – who started against the Dubs – does not feature in the starting line-up.
New captain and star of the show against the Dubs, David Clifford, will again lead a lethal full forward line where he will be flanked by James O’Donoghue and Paul Geaney while Gavin O’Brien of Kerins O’Rahillys again lines out on the wing alongside Kenmare duo Sean O’Shea and Stephen O’Brien.
With Shane Ryan again between the posts, he will have Jason Foley, Tadhg Morley and Shane Enright in the full back line and Paul Murphy, Gavin Crowley and last year’s skipper Gavin White ahead of them.
Once again, the Kerry management team has not named the players that will start on the substitutes’ bench and it is not yet known if Na Gaeil’s Diarmuid O’Connor is available or if Tom O’Sullivan from Dingle has recovered from injury.
Kerry: Shane Ryan, Jason Foley, Tadhg Morley, Shane Enright, Paul Murphy, Gavin Crowley, Gavin White, Liam Kearney, Jack Barry, Gavin O’Brien, Sean O’Shea, Stephen O’Brien, James O’Donoghue, David Clifford, Paul Geaney.
