KIERAN Donaghy has taken to social media to issue a rallying cry to Kerry supporters to get behind their team in the lead-up to the All-Ireland final.
The legend known as Star believes that Peter Keane’s young team needs great encouragement in their all-out attempt to win Sam and dash Dublin’s so-called drive for five.
Donaghy – who scored the all-important goal when Kerry last won the All-Ireland in 2014 – took to Twitter to urge Kerry fans to make a greater effort to put the green and gold on show.
“I’m disappointed with the colours from businesses and households around the county,” said the holder of four All-Ireland medals from Tralee.
“Let’s get them flags and colours up so our boys feel the buzz of what it’s all about, representing the Kingdom we are lucky to be from,” he wrote.
