Let the talks commence – on a great variety of topics

A series of public talks, encompassing topics such as the fungi and ants to be found in Killarney National Park, the white-tailed sea eagle reintroduction project, the story of the McShain family and the Civil War in Kerry have commenced at Killarney House.

The organiser, NPWS Conservation Ranger Padruig O’Sullivan, said it’s great to see the event returning for the first time since the pandemic and the response to this event is always so encouraging.

“People really engage with the speakers and subjects. This year we have an added bonus with live-streaming on Killarney National Park Facebook page. There is such a variety of speakers so, no doubt, it will prove very popular,” he said.
