FRESH from his outstanding East Kerry final performance for Killarney Legion, which inspired them to their first O’Donoghue Cup win since 1976, the impressive Darragh Lyne has been named on the Kerry team for tomorrow’s McGrath Cup clash with Tipperary.
He will partner Barry Mahony from St Senans in the game which is fixed for Clonmel Sportsfield with a 2.00pm throw-in.
From the team hammered by Cork in the opening round, several players are retained, including impressive defender Cormac Coffey from Kerins O’Rahillys and Listry and East Kerry star Ronan Buckley in the half-forward line and he will captain the side.
Deividas Uosis, the young Dingle goalkeeper linked with a move to Australia, starts between the posts.
