Comhairle na nÓg, the national network of child and youth councils, today launched its newly redesigned website, along with a fresh, new brand identity.
Developed on behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, the rebrand reflects a vibrant, fun and collaborative spirit that resonates with young people across Ireland.
The new look also celebrates Comhairle na nÓg’s position as the permanent structure representing young voices in decision-making at local and national levels. Young people involved were facilitated to play a central role in the creation of the new brand identity and the development of the website.
Comhairle na nÓg is the well-established recognised structure for youth participation in decision making.
It enables young people aged 12-18 to influence policy and practice on key issues that matter to them through consultations, focus groups, and direct engagement with decision-makers.
This is especially crucial for those under 18, who do not have a voting platform.
