THE Von Trapp family has taken up residence in Killarney in advance of taking to the stage at the INEC on February 26, 27 and 28.
The dedicated and talented members of Killarney Musical Society are intensifying rehearsals in preparation for their adaptation of the Sound of Music with scenes being set, props being sourced and gathered, sets under construction and costumes ordered.
The committee has issued an invitation to the public to become patrons of the society and those that wish to do so should call 087-9933411.
Tickets the shows currently on sale and the society will have a pop-up ticket office in The Laurels restaurant, commencing this Thursday from 12 noon to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.
