Killarney shows its pedal power

Winners alright: John Crowley, Patrick Clifford and Richael Maes of Killarney Cycling Club

DEDICATED members of Killarney Cycling Club battled with the elements, as well as the demanding course and fierce competition, to make their mark in Round 6 of the Munster Cyclocross League in, Drombane, Co Tipperary.

Richard Maes registered his fifth win of the overall series, John Crowley had his fifth Masters 50 victory of the series and Patrick Clifford won the Maters 40 in impressive style.

And to crown a truly memorable day for the club young Eoin Crowley – one of the most promising young cyclists on the circuit – won the under 14 race.

Killarney Cycling Club’s representatives will now turn their sights on attempting to repeat that strong of golden performances in the final round, again in Tipperary.
