BIKERS and other motorcycle enthusiasts will be in Harley heaven in Killarney this weekend when the annual BikeFest – one of the most colourful and popular events of the year in town – roars into town.
Dream machines – mainly stunning Harley Davidsons – will bring great air of flamboyance and fun to the streets and roads as they turn out in force for the spectacular event which will ensure a June bank holiday weekend bonanza.
Now in its 13th year the fantastic spectacle which runs from this Friday, is an action-packed, three-day festival that attracts thousands of motorcycle owners and enthusiasts from all over the world. The fantastic scenery, touring routes, hospitality and free live entertainment make it one of the must-attend events of the year.
Highlights will include daily ride-outs along the Wild Atlantic Way, marshalled by Celtic Thunder Chapter Ireland, Gaelic Chapter Ireland and Belfast Chapter, Northern Ireland, free Harley-Davidson demo rides and a ladies’ garage party with special guest Holly Richardson.

There will also be a novelty dog show, the custom bike show, a parade of bikers and great free live indoor and outdoor entertainment, day and night.
Patrons can look forward to three days, three stages free live music will include the outdoor stage located in the heart of the Bike Village, the favourite bikers’ haunt in the Harley Bar and the main stage in the INEC where revelers can rock on late into the night. This year’s headline acts includes Qween, JoanovArc, Eurosmith, Live Lizzy and festival legends Hell’s Bells.
Located on the grounds of the INEC Killarney, the Bike Village will again be the main hub of activity throughout the weekend, featuring retail stands and traders, merchandise, a Harley-Davidson experiential area and a family zone.
Those in attendance can also enter a raffle – in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Ireland – to win an incredible Harley Davidson.
