IF you’ve got it, flaunt it – that’s the approach being adopted by Killarney Municipal District Council when it comes to showcasing the town’s most scenic attractions.

Not backward about coming forward when it comes to promoting the town, the local authority has just unveiled a panoramic photographic montage and information panel at a picnic and viewing area at the Madam’s Hill, just outside Killarney town on the road to Tralee.

Located in an area with a spectacular, all-encompassing view of the town and its surrounding lakes and mountains, the display clearly illustrates the points of interest which are viewable from the site.

It features spectacular panoramic images of Killarney, captured by local photographer Don MacMonagle, and it greatly enhances the new picnic seating and groundworks undertaken by Kerry County Council in association with Killarney Looking Good Committee.
