The Lake Hotel in Killarney has won the top prize as Ireland’s Best Outdoor Dining Space in the nationwide Yes Chef awards.
The accolades celebrate the commitment and dedication of the hospitality industry in Ireland to providing outstanding guest experiences.
The prizegiving ceremony took place in the Limerick Strand Hotel where the best in Ireland in various categories were revealed.
There was double cause for celebration on n the night as the Huggard family owned Lake Hotel scooped awards for being Munster’s Best Outdoor Dining Space and the overall prize as Ireland’s Best Outdoor Dining Space.
The hotel’s lakeside bistro is a very popular outdoor dining venue with magnificent scenery and the emphasis is on great cuisine and exceptional service.
In 2021 the al fresco dining area was expanded and enhanced with plush seating, a retractable awning and atmospheric lighting adding to what was already a very attractive space.
Head chef, Noel Enright, restaurant manager Javier González and duty manager Damien Brown were in attendance at the awards ceremony where the hotel was praised for the resilience, creativity and passion in doing what it does so well.
