Erin McNulty, has been appointed by Swim Ireland as Munster Regional Pathway Development Coach

Killarney Swimming Club’s head coach, Erin McNulty, has been appointed by Swim Ireland as Munster Regional Pathway Development Coach.

She will replace Carlo Boni who has moved on to become assistant head coach of the National Centre in Limerick.

Erin moved to UCD to complete a Master’s degree

Erin is a former performance swimmer who still holds the 100m butterfly record in the State of Hawaii, USA, where she was a Bachelor of Arts student before transferring to UCD to complete a Master’s degree.

Highly regarded within the Munster region, her work with the Killarney club has seen a dramatic rise in its presence in swimming in the province.

Her coaching philosophy and pedigree as a high performer within the sport are a natural fit to take on this important work under the leadership of Head of Performance Pathways and Operations, Andrew Reid.

Erin will continue to coach Killarney Swimming Club until the end of the year.
