IT was a real family affair when a new Green Flag was raised, with great pride, on the grounds of Kilcummin National School.

Three generations of the Lenihan family, Dermot Lenihan, his son George snr, and his grandson George jnr, were there to officiate at the ceremony along with Green Schools Committee member.

It’s the seventh Green Flag for Kilcummin National School and it was an achievement well worth celebrating for the pupils, their teachers and their families.
