“I look forward to this very important opportunity to meet with key business and political representatives in New York during a week in which there is major focus on Ireland internationally,” Mayor Finucane said.

“My aim is to promote Kerry as an attractive business and tourism destination. I also look forward to meeting with the many individuals and organisations who are working to promote investment in and travel to Ireland and to ensure that Kerry is a priority for international investment and tourism,” he added.

The mayor said it will also be a great honour to join the Kerry Association and represent the people of Kerry at the annual St Patrick’s Day parade in New York.
