Despite starting their campaign this weekend with just a handful of regulars, Kerry have been installed favourites to win the National Football League.
Ahead of the throw-in against Donegal at Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney this Sunday, Jack O’Connor’s side are currently ahead in the betting with bookies Ladbrokes with odds of 3/1 favourites to win the league.
Sunday’s opponents Ulster champions Donegal – under a new lease of life with Jim McGuinness at the helm – are second in the betting following a heart-breaking All-Ireland semi-final loss to Galway at 4/1.
The Tribesmen, who just lost out in the All-Ireland final, are 5/1 to win the football league.
All-Ireland champions Armagh are currently at 6/1 and they will have the bit between their teeth despite not having won the competition before.
14-time winners, Dublin are also at 6/1 to go all the way in the competition again.
Cal Gildart of Ladbrokes commented: “Kerry have a clinical record in the National Football League and they will be looking to kick-off 2025 with a bang and pick up the trophy in March. Armagh may also prove to be dark horses with an All-Ireland still sitting in their trophy cabinet.”

To win 2025 National Football League
Kerry – 3/1
Donegal – 4/1
Galway – 5/1
Armagh – 6/1
Dublin – 6/1
