Kerry firm is deemed a real All-Star

The owner of a Farranfore based environmental services business has been accredited as All-Star Kerry Business Person of the Year 2023 by the All- Ireland Business Foundation.

Mary B Teahan of Irish Drain Services has been recognised by the autonomous accreditation body’s adjudication panel for meeting standards of business excellence in the areas of trust, performance, commitment and customer centricity.

Her business has also been accredited as a Business All-Star for the second successive year and is included in the organisation’s register of excellence.

Irish Drain Services, founded by Mary and Liam Brosnan in 2009, provides a wide array of services for domestic, commercial and industrial clients. This includes everything from septic

tank desludging and drain unblocking, to drain mapping and integrity/hydrostatic testing.

Mary remarked: “I am truly honoured to receive this prestigious accreditation. I share it with the team at Irish Drain Services who have worked passionately beside me since we started the company.

She said her business partner, Liam, has been a constant support along with her family.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge my late husband Brendan. He always believed in me and inspired me every day. I would not be in this position without him. Life is precious and surrounding yourself with good people is key to success,” Mary added.

The All-Ireland Business Foundation is tasked with enterprise development and the promotion of Best-in-Class in Irish business. It actively engages and supports its network through peer dialogue, collaboration, mentoring and enterprise development activities.
