FORGET about keeping up with the Kardashians – we’re all too busy trying to keep pace with the Flemings.

A young Kerry digital media enthusiast has turned a hobby into a potential career after filming a series of hilarious quick-fire family video clips and posting them on Youtube and the Vine entertainment network.

Tadhg Fleming from Ballymac has been making video clips for fun for the past four years and now he is preparing to commence a 12-month digital media production course to chase his dream.

The creative 26-year-old, who currently works with Lifestyle Sports, has come to national attention on social media and he has already been contacted by a major soft drinks company to work on some promotional videos on its behalf.

It’s a real family affair for Tadhg who regularly enlists the considerable comedy acting skills of his parents, Derry and Maureen, sisters Sadhbh and Mary Anne and girlfriend, Alannah Bradley.

“They all love getting involved and we regularly have brainstorming sessions to come with other ideas. We have great fun making them,” Tadhg told KillarneyToday.com.

His latest hit, filmed entirely on his mobile phone (link below), is a wacky introduction to the world of the Flemings as game-for-a-laugh Tadhg takes viewers on an hilarious slapstick guided tour of the many attractions of his rural homestead, including local bushes, more bushes, a Kerry-style swimming pool, a strip club where “the sheep take off all their clothes for the money”, a football field with a surface like carpet and a trickling stream described as Kerry’s answer to Niagara Falls.
