Keep a close eye out for Blaze

Black on white: Blaze playing in the snow during Storm Emma

A HEARTBROKEN dog owner whose much-loved pet wandered from home two days ago has issued an appeal to the public to keep a lookout for him and to contact her if there are any sightings.

The very distinctive black German Shepherd, just 14 months old, ran off when allowed outside to answer nature’s call and he has now been missing for two days.

He strayed from the Sunhill area of Killorglin and his owner, Nathalie Ananita Moriarty, is desperately seeking to get him home safe and sound.

The dog, who answers to the name Blaze, is microchipped and registered but he was not wearing a collar at the time of his disappearance.

Anybody that might see a dog fitting Blaze’s description is asked to call 087-2051524 or 087-1330018. Alternatively, they can contact KillarneyToday.com and we will alert the owner.
