
THE Legion team for today’s eagerly-awaited Kerry senior football championship final has been named.
Kerry star James O’Donoghue, as expected, will lead the attack from the centre forward position with Conor Keane and Tom Moriarty in the corners.
The team, in full, is: Brian Kelly, Tom Slattery, Danny Sheahan, Padraig O’Connor, Daragh Doherty,Damien O’Sullivan, Jonathan Lyne, Shaun Keane, Jamie O’Sullivan, Kevin Breen, James O’Donoghue, Billy McGuire, Tom Moriarty, David O’Sullivan, Conor Keane.
Subs: KJ Griffin, Chris Davies, Jack O’Neill, Andy O’Sullivan, Cathal Sheahan, Eoin Carroll, Denis Sheahan, Derek Twomey, David McCarthy, Kyle Griffin, Bryan Griffin, Sean McCarthy, Donal Lyne, Alan Moriarty, Padraig Lucey.
The South Kerry team has also been named and, although there was intense speculation that he would start, Declan O’Sullivan has been named amongst the substitutes.
