It’s Christmas in Killarney – and it’s just magic

Four down, one to go. The spectacular Christmas in Killarney magic parades are nearing a conclusion which means just one thing – Santa will be coming very soon.

The final Saturday night parade wound its way through the packed streets last night and the excitement reached fever pitch as the man in red passed by waving to all the children and the young at heart.

Nest week’s parade will actually take place on the Friday night – at the later time of 7.00pm – and it is being billed as a welcome home celebration for all those who are returning  from abroad and from various parts of the country for the celebrations.

There was a special parade held mid week as the floats – and Santa – paid a visit to St Columnabus Home and Killarney Community Hospital to add a little cheer to the evening for residents.
