It’s all glamour and style at Killarney Races

The ladies have already set heads turning in Killarney after laying on the style for the big day at the races.

This Friday is the concluding day of the five-day JulyFest but, more importantly, it is also ladies’ day with super prizes of trips to Paris and Milan up for grabs for the best dressed lady and man.

2021 Miss Ireland Pamela Uba and social media sensation Tadhg Fleming are celebrity judges and they will shortlist 10 lucky ladies and 10 gents to be shortlisted with all 20 taking home prizes for their efforts in the fashion stakes.

Despite some high quality racing all week, the most competitive event of the week takes the form of the best dressed fashion event.

The judges have been out and about on track from early in the afternoon to find this year’s best dressed winners.

Digital content creator, Tadhg Fleming, commented: “I’m absolutely delighted and excited. Being a local Kerry man, I am honoured to be this year’s judge with my fellow Ultimate Hell Week recruit Pamela.

“We will be keeping an eye out for the most stylish and head-turning outfits and may I add I am a fan of outrageous and funky designs”.

Former Miss Ireland, Pamela Uba, said it’s such a day of fashion and style and having previously won best dressed lady at the Galway races herself, she totally understands the effort that goes into it.

“I am looking out for something fun and chic that shows your personality and is unique. I can’t wait to see all the glam,” she remarked.

Music in the Jim Culloty Bar will be provided by the hugely popular Jack Patrick Healy this evening.
