‘It has been one hell of a rollercoaster’

Paul Nagle: Saying goodbye to the WRC

Killarney rally ace Paul Nagle is putting his keys back on the hook and leaving his helmet to one side as he steps away from his World Rally Championship involvement.

The Aghadoe man, who has enjoyed tremendous success as co-driver with Craig Breen, has decided to leave it all behind after almost two decades at the top.

The 44-year-old remarked: “It has been one hell of a rollercoaster and the memories and friends I made will last a lifetime”.

And he thanked his wife, Cathy, family and friend for their loyal support over the past 20 years.

Of his time with legendary driver Craig Breen, with whom he won the World Rally Championship, Killarney and District Motor Club member Paul said it made dreams happen and he has amazing memories.
