DOZENS of Killarney students were among the Intermediate School Killorglin Class of 2016 that turned on the style for their glamorous debs ball last night.
They partied the night away at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel in Tralee where they enjoyed dinner, entertainment, a novel awards presentation and dancing until the early hours.
The night’s entertainment featured a roulette table, a popular sweets cart and an impromptu fun re-enactment of hit musical Grease.
Earlier they had an informal get-together at The Fishery in Killorglin where they posed for family photographs and class pictures which will be great souvenirs in years to come.
Three buses ferried the debutantes from Killorglin to Tralee for the occasion and it afforded them an opportunity to spend one last night as a group before they receive their Leaving Certificate results next month and head in many different directions in pursuit of further studies and careers.
