GARDAI in Killarney are investigating an attempted burglary at a jewellery shop on High Street and they have appealed to the public for assistance.
The incident occurred between 2.45am and 3.15am on Monday, at a time of the morning when the streets would normally be extremely quiet.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious before, during or after the incident to contact Killarney Garda Station on 064-6671160.
All calls with be dealt with in strict confidence.
