Brotherly love: Patrick, Jack, Andrew and Conor Clifford

An online appeal to help four young Kerry brothers who lost both their parents to cancer, in a period of just five months, had now surpassed a whopping €350,000 in donations.

The GoFundMe campaign was set up by family and friends to help the Clifford boys from Milltown to purchase the family home their parents had been renting.

Patrick (21), Jack (14), eight-year-old Andrew and Conor (five) were understandably absolutely devastated when both their parents lost their respective battles with illness just months apart.

The boys, who are being cared for by relatives and friends with great support from the close-knit community, now reside in the rented family home and the fundraiser was set up to enable them to purchase the property and secure their future.

The late Padraig Clifford would have been 47 this week
