The annual Mass in Aghadoe cemetery has been confirmed for Tuesday, July 26 at 8.00pm.
It had originally been scheduled for the previous night – the traditional date for the ceremony – but that clashed with the homecoming planned for the Kerry senior football squad following their All-Ireland clash with Galway on the Sunday.
The parish was concerned that traffic congestion could lead to difficulties and a decision was taken to move the Mass to Tuesday if Kerry qualified for the final.
The annual Mass in the New Cemetery in Killarney, meanwhile, will proceed as planned on Monday, August 1 at 7.00pm.
