It’s a long way from the North Pole but Buddy from Elf is on the loose in Kerry.
Hollywood star Will Ferrell, who played the hilarious oversized elf in the 2003 smash hit movie, is currently touring Kerry where he is enjoying testing his skills on local golf courses and sampling the cuisine on offer in local restaurants.
He followed in the recent footsteps of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy when played a game in Ballybunion and he enjoyed a visit to Kenmare before arriving in Killarney on Wednesday.
The 54-year-old funnyman, who also starred in star of Anchorman, Step Brothers, Daddy’s Home, The Lego Movie and Zoolander, dined in Harrow restaurant on High Street last night and happily posed for snapshots with staff afterwards.
Earlier in the week Ferrell played golf at the Old Head Golf Club in Cork and dined in Dylan McGrath’s Fade Street Social in Dublin.
