Help us to keep you in the news

Cause for celebration: KillarneyToday.com is the go-to news source for Killarney people at home and abroad

A VERY extensive survey commissioned by Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce and conducted by IT Tralee – now the Munster Technological University – brought very good news for KillarneyToday.com to celebrate.

The Let’s Talk About Town survey confirmed what we had always suspected – the vast majority of Killarney people at home and abroad keep up to date with what’s happening through social media.

And more wonderfully, it revealed that 22 per cent of all respondents – in all age categories from under 18 to over 65 – said they always turn to KillarneyToday.com to find out what’s really going on.

That great vote of confidence has encouraged us to keep doing what we have been doing – providing a comprehensive and interactive local news and sports service to the people of Killarney, as it happens, seven days a week.

Unlike most newspapers and online sites, we are absolutely determined to avoid implementing a compulsory paywall – through which readers must pay to read – and we want to continue to keep you informed of what’s happening free of charge.

But we’d appreciate a helping hand.

To maintain this quality service going forward, your support and goodwill are essential as, in the current climate, the ability to rely solely on advertising and content sponsorship has been compromised.

It will help us to keep you in the news and remember – no news is bad news.
We appreciate and we thank you for your support. And, remember, we’re always here for you and we’re always here for Killarney.
