Staff and customers at a busy Killarney supermarket joined forced to organise a special celebration to mark the birthday of well-known local Donncha Crowley.
The team at Centra on Muckross Road bake him a cake for his birthday every year and friends and neighbours all gather to join in the occasion and to wish the Woodlawn Park resident the best of luck for the year ahead.
Donncha is very accomplished at quizzes and puzzle sand he loves astrology.
He is currently learning how to play the piano and he might even give a recital at his birthday get-together next year.
