THE under 10 and under 12 girls of Spa GAA Club had an early Halloween party at the weekend to mark the official end to their season.
They attended their last training session last Saturday morning after a very busy year for both squads on the field of play.
They were treated to a fabulous selection of home baking and Halloween sweets and also enjoying the occasion were their dedicated coaches.
Spa was spook-tacular on Friday evening as all sorts of ghoulish and scary juveniles arrived at the clubhouse to celebrate Halloween. Young and old all got into the seasonal spirit at the annual Halloween party, which was held in line with Covid restrictions.
The children danced to spooky tunes, enjoyed having their faces painted and many even got terrifying tattoos.
Organiser Orla O’Leary ensured the evening was a huge success while Anne Holland showed her skills with Halloween decorations and transformed the clubhouse for all to enjoy while David Rea and Kieran Somers created an eerie mood with their professional lighting and one very generous granddad sponsored treats for the kids.
A total of €360 was raised for club funds.
